Brinscall swimming pool

The local landmark has received a once in a generation investment, to ensure it remains in use for decades to come.

We are pleased to say that restoration works at Brinscall Swimming Pool are under way! The site closed as normal for Christmas 2023 and the works began in January 2024.

As you will know, we have been gearing up for the transformational £600,000 restoration for some time, ensuring that this cherished landmark can remain a hub of community activity for generations to come.

Not only will there be repair work to the pool structure, but the funding will also go to refurbishing the poolside facilities - all in keeping with the historic nature of the pool.

The pool is due to reopen in summer 2024.

During the closure period, we have made every effort to relocate as many activities as possible to All Seasons Leisure Centre. We understand that there may be some disruption both at All Seasons and Brinscall however we will try to resolve any issues and encourage you to contact us with any questions on allseasons@chorley.gov.uk.

All Seasons Leisure Centre Studio Extension

All Seasons while set to absorb Brinscall activities early in the new year, is also seeing investment to extend the group fitness studios which will help with demand. Works have commenced on expansion of both the ground floor front studio and the first-floor activity studio.

The first-floor activity studio will become the main hub for group exercise classes, with new flooring and full-length mirrors.

The ground floor front studio will become the cycling studio, focusing on creating the ultimate environment for spin classes. There will be new flooring, atmospheric lighting, and air conditioning for added comfort.

The building work is expected to be completed in early 2024. All classes will be relocated to either the main hall or practice hall during the short period of works. As always, if you have any questions about the works please speak to reception or contact us.
