Recent renovations
After a £600,000 investment, we are pleased to inform you that the pool is now open.
The phased re-opening of the pool will see instructor led sessions including School Swimming, Learn to Swim programmes, Clubs, Lane Swimming and Aqua Aerobics return initially with Lane Swim, Aqua Aerobics and Family Swim available in October half-term.
Groups will be contacted by the team directly to arrange their return to the facility.
We are committed to ensuring that everyone in Chorley can have access to quality and affordable leisure facilities and in a climate where other local authorities are choosing to close their facilities, we are proud to have been able to make significant investments into the historic landmark.
As you will know, the team have been working tirelessly on the restoration, ensuring that this cherished landmark can exist for generations to come. This has not only included repairs to the pool structure, but additional works have been completed to the poolside facilities - all in keeping with the historic features of the site.
We thank the community for coming together with us during this time.
Future investment
We recently completed a consultation to enable you to provide your thoughts on what public access you would like to see at Brinscall Swimming Pool, and what development you would like to see in the beach area of the main pool at All Seasons Leisure Centre.
Thank you to all of you who shared your views, and we will now be considering all feedback which will inform all future decisions for further investment for our leisure offer.
