Welcome
Brinscall Swimming Pool is 22m in length and 8m wide, 0.9m depth at the shallow end and 2.1m depth at the deep end.
Opening Times
Please note, Brinscall Baths is temporarily closed from Monday the 8th June 2026
Chorley Council have secured an additional £1 million to future-proof Brinscall Pool, helping to make the 100-year-old facility more energy efficient and sustainable
The £1 million investment will fund:
- Roof replacement
- Solar panel installation
- Removal of gas boilers
The pool will close from the 8th June 2026 for a number of weeks whilst work takes place, before reopening with extended opening hours, giving residents more opportunities to swim and stay active. We will keep you updated on an opening date
The funding is great news but has only just been secured, meaning that the work could not be carried out during the last phase of works when the building was closed.
We appreciate your patience during this short-term closure and can’t wait to welcome you back later this year!
